Hiring: posting vacancies

Publish a vacancy, review candidates, invite them to interviews (including video interviews on Workizon) and manage your hiring.

Who can post vacancies

Posting vacancies is available to company (employer) accounts and agencies. If you registered as an individual, create or switch to a company account to hire.

Posting a vacancy

When the expiry date passes, the vacancy is switched off automatically.

  1. 1 In your dashboard open Jobs and choose to post a new vacancy.
  2. 2 Fill in the title, category, job type, description and location, or mark it as remote.
  3. 3 Add the salary range with its currency and period (per hour, day, week, month or year). Vacancies with a salary attract more candidates.
  4. 4 Set the expiry date and publish. You can edit or delete the vacancy later in Manage jobs.

Reviewing candidates

Applications arrive in Manage candidates. Open a candidate to read their CV or download the attached file and their message. Mark the application as pending, accepted or rejected; the candidate is notified. Candidates you do not continue with can be moved to the archive.

Interviews

Invite a candidate to an interview with a date, duration and format: a video call on Workizon or an in-person meeting at an address. The candidate accepts or proposes another time. Video interviews run in the browser at the scheduled time, and you can record them and watch the recordings later.

Tips

  • Use the same interview length and questions for all candidates of one vacancy so you can compare them fairly.

Talking to candidates

You can message any candidate who applied from Messages. Keep the whole conversation on Workizon so both sides have a record of what was agreed.
