Balance and payments
How payments, escrow, fees, invoices, top-ups and payouts work on Workizon.
Paying on Workizon
Payments are processed by Stripe. You can pay for a service order or a project by card, or from your Workizon balance; AI services are paid from the balance. Before you pay you see the full breakdown: the price, the platform fee and VAT where it applies.
Escrow: how your money is protected
When you pay, the money is held by Workizon, not sent to the other side. It is released to the seller or freelancer only when the work is completed: when you finish a service order, release a project payment or accept an AI result (or automatically after the dispute window for AI tasks). If an order is cancelled, overdue or refunded, the money returns to your balance.
Fees and invoices
Workizon charges a platform fee. The fee for buyers is shown in the price breakdown before payment, and the fee for sellers is deducted when the payment is released; both are visible in the order details. Invoices for your payments are available in your dashboard, and you can export your transactions.
Your balance
Your balance shows the money you can spend or withdraw, per currency. Earnings from completed orders, projects and AI tasks, and refunds, arrive on the balance. The transaction history lists every movement.
